Boulder geschafft

So, letzten Samstag hats dann geklappt, die 7c+ Blair Witch Project ging und damit mein zweiter Boulder in dem Grad. Am Dienstag haben wir dann das gute Wetter genutzt und sind gleich nochmal zum Bouldern gegangen. Wir sind nach der Arbeit losgefahren und haben noch Lisl, Jakob und Felix abgeholt. Mein Navi hat mich dann über eine recht kurvenreiche Strecke auf die Haardt gefahren. Das ganze hat Felix leider nicht so gut gefallen und er hat 50 Meter vorm Parkplatz eine ganze Milchflasche in hohem Bogen ins Auto gekotzt.

The next level

After the weekend in the Frankenjura I feel that I need to start trying harder problems in order to improve my climbing performance. I’m feeling confident on most 7c’s, so it’s time trying some 7c+ problems. Unfortunately, the season comes to an end and conditions do get worse from week to week. Some time ago, I had a close look to a classic problem called Liquid Sunshine, which is supposed to be solid in the grade.

Frankenjura over Easter

Over Easter we went home visiting our parents. I managed to fit in 3 sessions. First day out I met an old fried and he showed me quite a few problems around 7c (as you probably know, there is no guidebook for Frankenjura bouldering, only a couple of websites where the guys show people how strong they are and how nice problems they are doing…). One of them, called “Häckisäck”, is on this amazing ball shaped rock which lies around 10 meters above the street. You get the impression that you can simply blow it off on the street, but obviously it’s not that easy. We had to push quite hard 🙂
